ATTENDANCE
- There are five working days in a week.
- Classes will be conducted from 9.15 a.m to 3.00 p.m. Everyday will have
two sessions.The morning session is from 9.15 a.m to 12.20 p.m and after
noon session from 1.00 p.m to 3.00 p.m. The morning session is divided into
3 periods and the afternoon session into 2 periods, each with one hour duration.
- Absence for any one period will be treated as absence for half a day,
absence during any one period in both halves will be treated as absence
for one full day.

Attendance will be marked at the beginning of each periods by the respective
teachers.

A student is required to secure 75% attendance in order to be eligible for
university examinations.

Absence must be regularised by a leave letter without which attendance
shortage will not get condonation at the university level. Students can apply
for condonation up to 10 days. Condonation will be granted only once during a course.

Application for leave, countersigned by the parent/ guardian should be submitted
to the teacher in charge of the class.

When leaves of absence is required is case of illness for more than
three consecutive days, application for the same must be supported by a medical certificate.

A student absenting himself /herself without leave for more than ten consecutive
working days will have his/her name removed from the rolls. He/she will be readmitted
only on payment of all fee dues with fine.
