HISTORY



Inspired by the saintly call to seek freedom and enlightenment through education, the founders of the college visualised a centre of higher education for the socio-cultural upliftment of the marginalised society in a rural backward village like Nattika. The college was approved by the Govt. of Kerala, in 2013 and was formally inaugurated on 14th September 2013 at Pathanamthitta in the presence of Manager and Secretary of S N Trust, by Sri. Oommen Chandy, the Chief Minister and SNDP Devaswom Secretary Sri. Arayakkandi Santhosh. The College started functioning temporarily at the office of SNDP Nattika Union and later was shifted to its own campus built by the SN Trusts on 31st May of 2015. The new building was inaugurated on 1st June 2015 by Sri. Thushar Vellappally, Asst. Secretary of S.N. Trusts. Two P.G. Courses (M.Com and M.A.) were started on 23rd August 2017, The completed building was inaugurated by Sri. Vellappally Natesan (Secretary, SN Trust) on 30th January 2018. UG Course B.A. Political Science began functioning on 6th July 2019 and B.A. Economics Course was inaugurated on 8th November 2021.
